The 4-year guarantee for chainflex® cables: What’s in it for you, proof it works & how to get it

What exactly is it?

This guarantee is essentially a product warranty for our flexible cables. The guarantee is valid for the calculated number of double strokes according to the igus® online service life calculator, up to a maximum of 4 years after the delivery date, whichever comes first. The warranty applies to all chainflex® cables that can be selected in the service life calculator.

Our rigorous testing methods are also verified by Underwriters Laboratory (UL), ensuring that our cables perform reliably in real-world conditions.

Receive your 4-year guarantee in 3 steps:

First, start with the cable part number you need. To find this, you can use our chainflex product finder (https://chainflex-productfinder.igus.tools/), which will help you narrow down a cable by entering application details. Alternatively, you can have a quick chat with one of our technical reps, either on the phone (800-965-2496) or via live chat (at www.igus.ca).

Second, open up the chainflex® service life calculator (igus® cable service life calculator) and enter your application details, such as length, bend radius and ambient temperature. Click through to the final results page and see a list of compatible cable parts and pricing, along with associated service life. This latter step allows you to choose the most appropriate cable for your application, for the lowest price point.

Third, click on the button to apply for your service life certificate. The number of cycles guaranteed will be either 4 years or the double stroke service life listed for your chosen part, whichever is less.
